   Are you talking this textual kind of communication? There isn't much   
   information contained in the text so people tend to do a lot of reading   
   between the lines, filling in the gaps of unknown with their   
   imagination. But where there is unknown people often project unconscious   
   content which is opposed their conscious position, and so things fall   
   apart quite quickly. See twitter for further details.
