     Computers back then couldn't communicate that well.   
     These dialogues were polished up, as was later revealed.   
     That means you couldn't stray too far from the predetermined paths.   
     Still, as a programmer, I know that computers can in principle   
     complete tasks that require planning with intermediate steps.
