No we don't have a limitless supply, as the contstruction and
maintenence of these solar panels and wind turbines uses finite
resources, and are currently not sufficiently available.

Oil consumption worldwide reached approximately 97.3 million barrels per
day in 2022. Why? Why didn't they just use solar panels? because we are
nowhere near that being feasible yet.

Embeded in the limitless supply idea is some notion of the absolute
supply and demand. All life on earth was solar powered (ok apart from
some geothermal) until people started burning coal. Why can't we just
carry on like that? Because demand has risen so much now that reducing
it is too difficult. Ask any green evangelist why he drives a car and he
   will have his excuses ready.

Look at the graph of oil consumption. Why is it going up, and not down?

I've heard of the myth of trickle down economics before and I think it
is a myth. Studies on the effectiveness of trickle-down economics have
   shown mixed results.
