   Trouble is, most teachings that I've attempted to practice   
   that led to what seemed like good results tend to consider   
   mind/thought as an impediment to so-called enlightenment.   
      
   From that point of view, it's hard to become interested in   
   infecting (as it were) babies/children with a mind/thought   
   centric existence.
