   Sense impressions generates activity in the brain. Thoughts are activity   
   in the brain, so that is perfectly valid reasoning. Also, by doubting one,   
   but not the other, you just "made up" the boundary of doubt without any   
   proof or reasoning. Why shouldn't someone who fools your senses, also be   
   able to create thoughts in your head? In fact, people and marketing people   
   do that all the time.
