   Choosing to believe something is true because you have no choice, or   
   because you wish to avoid solipsism or whatever, isn't the same as   
   knowing. It isn't logical, it's merely pragmatic.   
      
   You could for example say "here is a hand, and here is another", hold   
   them out before you, see them, and then wake up and discover you were   
   dreaming and not even looking at your hands. So it isn't an argument for   
   anything, it is just the denial of an argument.
