All mental is arguably masturbation, especially
   from another's point of view.

The mental illness called ego (which is rooted in
the idea of being a separate, free-willed being)
puts possessors thereof in the troubling position
of having to trust your "greater intellect" as
being able to see the "greater intellect" you
refer to as being the sham of a sad little worm.

It seems to me it's best to let others find their
own way through the hideous realm of sad little
worms bouncing off the illusions of themselves
and each other. If you don't like something,
ignore it. Or not. If you see a pattern, I've
heard there's a mechanism called the "killfile"
that might be of service so long as the sad
little worm in question remains consistent with
   the posting identity. Or not.
