   I once remember reading somewhere.

In ancient times there was someone that did something
considered horrible. I think he broke apart a statue
or something. Anyway, he said something like 'because
I did this horrible thing, I will be remembered forever,
If I had not done this, then I would have been forgotten.'

Then everyone supposedly tried to blot out and erase who
he was and what he had done.

But they were unsuccessful, I read it I am thinking in
some history book somewhere. But then I thought, ...
If people only remember the evil and forget the good,
isn't it better to be forgotten than to be remembered?
Is not fame a bad thing because people tend to only
   become famous by being evil?

Then consider usenet. Haven't people abandoned it
because they want more graphics? They are controlled
by the cool looking and sounding bells and whistles?
Who can really know, who can understand?
