   What the denialists don't want to confront is that these highly   
   consumptive behaviors accelerate making a quarter of populated regions   
   inhospitable, which will drive mass migration & trigger wars.   
      
   There's no practical affordable way to become an isolationist cabal, so   
   even if you do make a refuge (regardless of how high taxes go to build   
   higher walls), they will still come, peacefully or otherwise.  TL;DR:   
   the way to minimize immigration is to stop fucking up their homes.
