   Actually that is what seems to be happening as viewership is way down for   
   the legacy media. Younger folks get their news from the net which IMHO is   
   a good thing because you can literally hear all sides in a short time vs   
   watching say Fox and hear all right wing or MSNow and hear all left wing.

   IMHO the legacy news media have evolved into entertainment, commentary shows   
   with news   
   sprinkled in between to set up the commentary segments. And for many viewers   
   the line between the two is blurred.   
      
   The legacy media really needs to reinvent themselves and get back to reporting   
   the facts and not dwelling on public interest stories as much or starting up   
   the spin machine.
