   The Patriot Act took away more rights to freedom than anything in recent times   
   from my perspective.   
   And like classic government manipulation of the masses, they picked the perfect   
   time to put it on the table. ie:9-11.   
   There is some good in the act but there is also some overreach as well.   
   In fact a LOT of overreach.   
   And while it did expire in 2019 I believe, the government is still using some   
   of the main provisions as if nothing changed.
