   Once again, Trump played Mandami like a violin. He let him talk, didn't   
   attack, and   
   just smiled while saying something like "we don't agree on everything, but we   
   both want to see NYC once again being great".   
      
   That is so shrewd because you can bet Mandami went into the meeting expecting   
   Trump to attack from the start but he didn't which seemed to catch Mandami off   
   guard.   
      
   Besides, if Mandami screws up NYC, Trump can say, well those policies are the   
   ones   
   I disagreed with and if Mandami manages to recover the city, Trump can claim   
   see   
   those are the policies I agreed with.   
      
   It's a win win.
