   Everyone and their pet knows the NYC's subway is synonymous   
   with something really, absolutely horrible. But it's not a   
   transportation problem, it's more basic problem with the   
   American public spaces in general. And then, it's not really   
   just a public spaces issue, but it's somewhat more ominous.
