1. Actual crimes increased under the last administration due to soft on crime
policies.
2. the FBI and other statistics are only as good as the accuracy of the data
going
into the system and THAT is where the real problem is. Places have been caught
manipulating the figures in various ways in order to make it look like their
city is not having a crime issue. NYC and DC are the popular ones but there
are others.
And the methods being used are numerous and not just altering numbers on a
spreadsheet.
Also crime is crime. Just because murders drop doesn't mean other crimes
haven't
risen.
