       Pleonexia, sometimes called pleonexy, originating from the   
       Greek πλεονεξία, is a philosophical concept which roughly   
       corresponds to greed, covetousness, or avarice, and is   
       strictly defined as "the insatiable desire to have what   
       rightfully belongs to others."   
      
          
      
       "The Man Without a Face: The Unlikely Rise of Vladimir Putin"   
       is a 2012 book by Masha Gessen about Vladimir Putin and his   
       rise to power and reign.   
      
   So, I'm reading this book, and there's a number of affairs in it   
   that call to mind Trump, who in some ways is like a lesser Putin.   
   Tell me if these anecdotes seem oddly familiar.   
      
       -   June 2005, Putin hosted Robert Kraft in St. Petersburg.   
           Putin asked to see his Superbowl ring. He stuck it in his   
           pocket and left the room abruptly. Kraft had to later   
           announce that the ring was a gift.   
       -   September 2005. Putin was a guest at New York's   
           Guggenheim museum. A conversation piece, a glass replica   
           of a Kalashnikov filled with vodka. Putin nodded to   
           a bodyguard, who took the item and carried it out of   
           the room.   
       -   Just days after his inauguration, Putin signed a decree   
           consolidating 70% of Russia's alcohol into a single   
           company and appointed a crony to run one of the country's   
           most lucrative businesses.
