   Melania Reportedly Considering Moving Out After Report She & Trump Live   
   'Separate' Lives -- 'She's Done'

   The First Lady of the United States may not call the White House home   
   for much longer. A source told Rob Shuter's "Naughty But Nice" Substack   
   in a post published on February 6 that Melania Trump is considering   
   moving from Washington D.C. back to New York City because of how much   
   she misses the Big Apple.   
      
   Her husband, President Donald Trump, is also from New York City and was   
   raised in the Jamaica Estates neighborhood of Queens. Trump and Melania   
   also lived in New York City together for years before his presidential   
   career.   
      
   "D.C. was always temporary in her mind," the insider said. "Melania is   
   a New York woman." The source explained, while Melania will continue to   
   travel regularly to Florida (where Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort is based   
   in Palm Beach), she's planning to make New York City her home base.   
      
   Another reason Melania is considering moving back to New York City is   
   her reported plan to launch a lifestyle and luxury brand called   
   Melania, which will include premium fragrances, skincare, luxury home   
   goods, fashion items, and more collectibles, according to Shuter's   
   source. "This is about turning Melania into a global luxury brand," the   
   insider said. "New York is where that happens -- not Washington."   
      
   The source continued, "She's done being decorative. This is about   
   control, creativity, and cash."   
      
   Shuter's post also comes after Michael Wolff told "The Daily Beast   
   Podcast" in May 2025 that Melania and Trump "live separate lives." A   
   source also told People in January 2026 that the couple have very   
   "little interaction" outside of their public appearances together.   
   "There is little interaction between them, just what is expected," the   
   insider said. "Then they go back to doing their own thing."   
      
   The source also claimed that Melania and Trump have their own "quarters   
   in the White House," and that Melania "leads her own life and joins him   
   when appropriate." The insider also reported that Melania typically   
   "keeps to herself" when the couple are in Palm Beach for work, though   
   she does accompany her husband to dinner "on occasion."
