   Pig wounded, suspect shot and killed by the pigs.   
      
   VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Virginia Beach police officers shot and killed a   
   man in a shootout Sunday morning, after the suspect shot another   
   officer, police said.   
      
   Officers were sent to an after-hours nightclub shortly before 2 a.m.   
   Sunday to investigate a firearms violation, according to police   
   spokesman Don Rimer. Witnesses told officers that several shots had   
   been fired and gave them a vehicle description.   
      
   Two officers found the vehicle on Northampton Boulevard, parked at a   
   Waffle House restaurant. An occupant of the vehicle stepped out and   
   shot one of the officers as they approached the vehicle, according to   
   Rimer. Then the suspect ran into a nearby neighborhood.   
      
   The armed suspect confronted two other officers about 10 minutes later   
   and the suspect was wounded during an exchange of gunfire, Rimer said.   
      
   The suspect died later at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was   
   identified as Theodore E. Johnson, Jr., 24, of Norfolk, according to   
   police.   
      
   Police had not released the name of the wounded officer, who was   
   reported to be in stable condition Sunday at Sentara Virginia Beach   
   General Hospital.   
      
   The shootings remained under investigation.
