   There was no interferance.  They were merely assisting with a combative   
   person.  Once the cops took action, he was calm enough to receive the   
   medical attention he needed.

   The cops didn't give any medical attention.  They assisted by subduing the   
   patient to the point where the paramedics could do their job.
