XPost: alt.law-enforcement       From: qqqq@7600.net              A number of recent docuemntaries on television have       explored the US Army's research initiatives for the       "Soldier of the 21st Centrury", who will carry an       onboard computer that drives a helmet-mounted tactical       display providing him real-time battlefield data and       communications, GPS coordinates, imaging of the enemy       from multiple external sources, etc.              This seemed like a great thing until I started thinking       about it and wondered how it will affect our foreign       relations when other countries discover we've got a       chip on our soldier.              (read it out loud to yourself if you don't get it |
