   That is the unfortunate reality, DN.   
      
   Having worked three years with female convicts, I can tell you for a fact   
   that kindness and gentility are, for the most part, wasted on them.  They   
   perceive such otherwise admirable traits as weaknesses to be exploited -   
   nothing more.   
      
   Obviously, there are exceptions....but my advice is that you not hold your   
   breath while you search for her.
