There is a big       > difference here.              And corporate "policy" to mop up the balance. Any job whatsoever can be       denied on the perogative of an employer, and they are usually pricks about       it. I was surprised by one asshole who actually stared yelling at me for       having the audacity to fill out a job app. That was funny. I get all kinds       of reactions out of folks. Good churchgoing folk.              There are certain jobs which are offered to felons through temp agencies -       usually hazardous work like chemical related or other hazardous work which       nobody else wants. These employers are cutting deals with their pals in city       hall to accept felons as if they were radioactive waste that needs to be       processed.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
