   Actually, the key role in the genocide of the Jews was the   
   indifference and public acceptance of the German people to the bigotry   
   and hatred directed against the Jews.  When people started saying that   
   the Jews had "shit for brains" and were "JOcksuckers," not enough   
   people stood up against the bigots to make a difference and   
   persecution and genocide was the result.   
      
   Let us hope that us CO's are luckier.  :)
