When there are bands of armed       > paramilitary stormtroopers roaming the countryside arresting and       > killing ex-cons simply because of the fact that they ARE ex-cons, you       > can make this claim.                     Absolutely NOT. It matters not where you go in the US, if you are driving       down the street, the cops can pull up your plate number and they       automatically know if you have a felony record. Anyone can access "free"       databases provided by the government to access criminal records. Every       employer will run you rname through the computer. There is no place to run.       You are marked by the computer system which was designed to be your doom.       This is the one tool which the Nazis would have really admired. This society       has become even WORSE than Nazi Germany - and if you dont like it then you       can BLOW ME.                            > >They now seek to deprive employment and housing to anyone who wears "the       > >star".       >       > No. As has been pointed out before, ex-cons in parole or released       > supervision programs are required to be gainfully employed. We may       > take the fact that there are many such people out there as prima facie       > proof that ex-cons are not deprived employment and housing. What is       > absolutely true is that ex-cons are denied employment to SOME jobs on       > the basis of the law that was cited in this memo.                     Lies. Ex-cons are required to find employment where there is none, so that       the state can continue to fuck with your mind.              What is FACT is that ex-cons are denied employment UNIVERSALLY in all       industries, with the exception of a scant token here or there. The whole       temporary employment industry came into being as a way to filter out the       ex-cons and shield the actual employers from litigation. This is why temp       agencies exist.                     > >Make no mistake, ex-convicts are indeed the most hated group in the US,       with       > >NO protections against discrimination in housing, work, education,       > >licensing, etc.       >       > Actually, the memo you cite states that current Wisconsin law has       > plenty of protections.                     And these protections are NOT observed in practice. The law is broken on a       daily basis by every employer in the state - making them all criminals. And,       as you can see, there is some BIG money trying to get those few protections       reversed. This does not really affect ex-cons, because they would'nt get       hired anyway. But what it does do is clearly demonstrate the willingness of       Wisconsin Business to slam the door on all felons.                     > >Read the hate filled memo below to discover the true designs which are       now       > >being put into motion, an attempt to repeat those same mistakes of 1943,       the       > >same mistakes of ADOLF HITLER.       >       > I think the hate part must've been in the part that you snipped?       > >       > >It is UNETHICAL to do business with Wisconsin manufacturers.       > >       > >       > Waits patiently for Critter to announce the Great Cheese Boycott.       >       > On a more serious note, if you want society to accept you, you have to       > make yourself acceptable to society. It's the same as in prison,       > actually. If you want to be accepted in prison, you have to fit in,       > right? The problem, and it is a serious one, is that the rules for       > society at large and the rules for the society behind the prison walls       > are VERY different and it is difficult (in some cases impossible) for       > the ex-con to successfully adapt. We refer to this as the ex-con       > being "institutionalized." I can't say whether or not this is your       > problem, Critter, because I don't know you, but some of your recent       > posts seem to imply that you are having trouble integrating yourself       > into society. Whether or not being in the prison is the cause of the       > trouble, I have not a clue. But the basic truth remains. If you want       > society to accept you, you have to make yourself acceptable to it.                     I dont give a damn about acceptance, all I have mentioned so far are basic       human rights. You seem to be equating basic human rights issues with some       type of touchy feely acceptance stuff. That is not what it's about.              It is about repeating the same mistakes as the NAZIS did, in axactly the       same fashion as the NAZIS did, because there are NAZIS among us.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
