   Stew, although you're right about Debbie's beginning to train her   
   mind to work, you may be wrong in your optimism toward her   
   becoming mature enough soon. In order for her to be able to   
   understand basic the philosophy behind "crime and punishment" she   
   should get some knowledge about Human Rights and gain experience   
   in operations of government's sinecures. But even then she'll   
   need to LEARN about compassion and respect for others' rights.   
   And she does not sound like the type who is able to endure the   
   process of going through those stages...   
      
   Do you really think that she will find a room in her mind for a   
   sympathy toward the victims of the incarceration industry and be   
   able to comprehend the reasons for your position?
