   Damn, another one in Denver today.  I think that makes two innocent   
   bystanders (collateral damage) this week in Denver.  AIRC, two deaths,   
   several serious injuries.  In a third north of Denver yesterday, the Cop   
   chases the Perp, the Perp spins out, and the Cop (running without lights   
   and siren) deadheads into the Perp's car (which he can't see because of   
   the dust in the air), killing the Perp and injuring the Cop.   
      
   To their enduring credit, the Colorado State Patrol requires supervisory   
   permission to engage in a chase, and most are denied.
