   An ex-cop, Ed Thomas. He's one of the ones that has led reform proposals.   
   Some of the things cops have done in Denver have been very embarrassing for   
   everyone. Since the Mena incident and then the Columbine fiasco, the PD has   
   been under very close scrutiny.   
   And rightly so.
