   The wishes of the mother or anyone else are not sufficient reason to allow   
   the killing of a fetus when it's   
   only difference from a neonate, that cannot be killed, is being attached to   
   her by the umbilical cord   
   except in the usual extenuating circumstances.   
      
   Biological science shows that life has no discontinuities. Society can and   
   should allow for the right of choice for   
   th mother but only early in the pregnancy when it is clear that there is   
   much developmental difference   
   between the fetus and the child.
