No debate points for you, Sparky.

Bogus. Not only aren't the "good people" NOT disenfranchised,
but because THEY and the "good people" of the Rocky Mtn and
southern states have disproportional political clout in the EC
and Senate, they get MORE moneys BACK than they send to DC,
unlike those large pop states like NY and Cal, who are
effectively outvoted despite their larger populations.

Bogus. NY and Cal have as diverse a voting population as
anywhere; I, for example, live in a rural upstate NY community,
conveniently gerrymandered to give Republicans disproportionate
clout. There are NO liberal elites here! But since states don't
vote as blocs anyway, your argument is bogus. Just let each
voter have ONE vote and all will be as it should be, based on
   INDIVIDUAL voters getting ENfranchised.

   > Our
   > constitutional republic guarantees that everyone will be heard.

False, and laughably so, blatant asserter.

Oh, and why NOBODY bothers to campaign for president in states
where the winner-take-all result is foregone; since a dem is
assumed to win in Mass and NY, and lose in Texas and Wyoming,
why bother to "hear" the minority of voters there, no matter HOW
large, as they get ZERO representation in the final EC count?
Without an EC, EVERY vote would count, from anywhere, and six
dem votes in Texas would beat five repub votes in NY, so it
would be important to campaign and win everywhere!
