Agreed. Our government needs to concentrate on servicing the people who
elected it, and not trying to enforce their will on people who have a
   government of their own.

   Exactly.

Right after we sacrifice the goat involved in getting us to that point, with
   his big fat mouth.

The best thing to do, is for our President to prove he has the diplomatic
strengths he'd need as an international figure in today's world, bite the
   bullet, and kiss some ass.

This hardline "Texan out for blood" crap doesn't work out of the movies.
Especially considering he isn't really a Texan, but an ivy league wetnursed
   little mama's boy.

   > Those people over there are barbarians. They make the Nazis look
   civilized.

   front

   sand,
   > so thier camels can shit on them.

The people over there are willing to die for their religious and cultural
   convictions.
That doesn't make them barbarians. They're just closer to their biblical
text's sense of faith than alot of us here are. See, when their fanatics do
something crazy, they often die in the act, and even more often than not
plan it that way. Unlike our false religious fanatics, who shoot abortion
doctors, wives, and security guards from hidden positions, and then claim to
have laid in ambush cowering in the name of God.

They aren't culturally the same as us, but that doesn't make them
barbarians. They have their ways, and we have ours. I'm sure riding on a
battle tank, pounding them into coarse meal will make their culture go away
after awhile, but is that really what we want to happen, or what we're told
   is the best way?

   > Let them know what real round the clock bombing (bomber Harris style, not
   > precision bombing style) is, and, what facing masses of billy yanks and
   johnny
   > rebs is like.

No, we don't have to flay them alive. We don't have to blast them to shit,
roll over them with tanks, or even shout harsh abscenities at hispanic
people in our own country, some of us so butt-stupid that they go into
rage-mode at seeing slightly darkened skin.

We don't have to do a damned thing. What we do, we choose to do.

I don't choose to kill anyone because someone tells me I must. Killing is a
personal decision, which cannot be dictated by the values of others. I
believe the best choice is to propose this draft, as you suggested, pulling
random names....of bankers, CEOs, corporate advisory boardmembers, rich
entrepraneurs, and public officials. Afterall, it's their country too.
Shouldn't they feel obligated to defend it with a rifle, just as
courageously as the average wage-slave? I say they go first, for once!
Either it'll make men out of them, or it'll put this war on terror crap to a
   stop.
