   How does killing someone obtain justice?  I would submit that life in prison   
   without possibility of parole is much harsher punishment, therefore higher   
   justice, than a quick, easy, death.

   But it doesn't.  Study after study shows that not only does the death penalty   
   not deter crime, in some cases it may worsen crime.
