   So, by your logic, if a jury ordered an execution, then, a cop would be well   
   justified in killing the criminal?   
      
   What happens in a courtroom has no bearing on the job a policeman has to do.   
   His job is out on the street, and his life is on the line, not just the   
   defendant's.
