Vot-ER is a group of 50,000 physicians who are signing up patients to
vote in the 2024 election. The group is led by Dr. Dr. Alister Martin
who served as a White House Fellow in the office of Kamala Harris.

And now you'll get it from the horse's mouth:

   https://www.patientvoting.com/

*Vot-ER is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization working to integrate
   civic engagement into healthcare.*

Patient Voting helps patients vote by using an Emergency Absentee
Ballot. An Emergency Absentee Ballot is available in most states, but
few people have heard of it.

Most people are familiar with regular absentee ballots, which are
intended for people (members of the military, college students) who know
ahead of time that they will not be able to make it to the polls on
Election Day. When patients are unexpectedly hospitalized, they likely
did not make arrangements to vote by regular absentee ballot. Emergency
Absentee Ballots are used when a registered voter realizes that they
will be unable to make it to the polls, but it is too late to apply for
   regular absentee ballots.

According to the National Conference of State Legislatures,
"Requirements to qualify for an emergency ballot vary, but the most
common reason that states permit a voter to use this option is due to a
medical emergency such as unforeseen illness, confinement to a medical
facility, disabilities or accidents resulting in injury."

Dr. Alister Martin, an emergency physician, started Vot-ER as a pilot
program at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2019.

Martin not only used his extensive support network at Mass General but
also reached back to the Kennedy School for help. He worked with Miles
Rapoport, a former Connecticut secretary of state and a senior fellow at
the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation, who helped
connect him with others, including philanthropies, in the democracy
space. Aliya Bhatia MPP 2018 is the organization’s chief operating
officer. Kathryn Peters MPP 2011, of Democracy Works and TurboVote,
helped Martin navigate the practical challenges of registration. And
ideas42, a Washington-based behavioral consulting group that counts
numerous Kennedy School alumni among its ranks, helped VotER shape its
   strategy.

Alister Martin is from Neptune, New Jersey and is placed at the Office
of the Vice President and the White House Office of Public Engagement.
Alister is a practicing emergency physician and former Chief Resident at
Massachusetts General Hospital. He served as a former Health Policy Aide
to Governor Peter Shumlin of Vermont and Congressman Raul Ruiz of
California. He works at the intersection of public policy and medicine
as research faculty at the Harvard Kennedy School Behavioral Insights
Group and as clinical faculty at Harvard Medical School in the Center
for Social Justice and Health Equity.

*He leverages his background in politics*

While his deceitful organization claims to be 'non-partisan'!

   It is to laugh.

Now fuck off outta here with your "shoot the messenger" denials and
   bullshit!
