   It's all over the car enthusiast groups.   
   The biggest problem is this spying is reported to insurance companies   
   and it literally includes how often you floor the accelerator, go above the   
   speed limit, brake hard   
   and so forth.   
      
   God help you if you are in an accident and the ECU data doesn't match you   
   accounting of the accident   
   you are screwed.   
      
   And the way they suck people in is if you disable a lot of this nanny stuff,   
   you don't get all the online   
   features of your car like real time apps, software updates, location, alarms   
   etc.
