|    Amazon caught cheating with their Prime     |

XPost: misc.consumers, alt.privacy.anon-server       From: fritz@spamexpire-202510.rodent.frell.theremailer.net              That is the exact reason I stopped using them. I found I could no       longer use the site without it illegally signing me up for Prime. No       matter how I tried, Amazon would not answer me for a cancellation. My       bank repeatedly tried contacting them due to my complaint. Even they       could not get a response from Amazon. They finally gave up and deleted       the charge from my credit card.              Amazon is now little more than a crook outfit.              https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2025/09/25/amazon-ftc-settlement-2-       5-billion-prime-subscriptions/86347077007/              "The FTC filed an antitrust lawsuit against the retail giant in June of       2023, alleging that it had enrolled millions of consumers in Prime       subscriptions without their consent and then made the subscriptions       exceedingly difficult to cancel."              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
