   "All politics is local," so regardless of the TDS vs MAGA battles,   
   the Democrats have a real shot at it.   
      
   Traditionally the party in power loses seats in the mid term, and   
   that party is the Republicans. So, Advantage Democrats.   
      
   And I actually felt redeemed by Zohran Mamdani's election in NYC.   
   No, NOT because he's a leftist or I believe there's a 50-50 shot   
   that he's a Trojan Horse but because he broke rank.   
      
   Yes Zohran Mamdani blew all the "Defund the police" and "Prioritize   
   illegal aliens over citizens" smoke up everyone's ass but, he also   
   promised voters things that would actually benefit them.   
      
   Lower rents.   
      
   More & better access to supermarkets at lower prices.   
      
   Free public transpiration.   
      
   The point is that he was talking to actual people, making promises   
   to THEM and not just virtual signaling. And this something the GOP   
   never does.   
      
   Yes the GOP is excellent at promising to take away things from people   
   you hate, but it never gives you things you want. It never promises   
   to give you anything you want. Unless you're already rich and don't   
   need it...   
      
   So before Zohran Mamdani the Democrats "Forgot" how to talk to the   
   voters, violently supporting illegal aliens over Americans -- while   
   the Republicans promised to fuck over those same illegals. And fucking
