   Matthaeum 13:1-58 (1/3)
   13 Dec 25 18:27:59

   From: J@M

"in illo die exiens Iesus de domo sedebat secus mare et
   congregatae
on that day exited jesus from the house, and sat beside the sea. and
   congregated

   sederet
were to him a crowd multitudinous, thus that into a ship he ascended, and
   sat,

   in
and the whole crowd stood on the shore. and spoke he to them many things
   in

parables, saying, behold, exited he a sower to sow, and while he sowed,

quaedam ceciderunt secus viam et venerunt volucres et
some seeds fell beside the way, and came the volant creatures and

ate them. some but fell on rocky places, where not they had

earth much, and promptly sprang up they, because not they had depth

   habebant
of earth, the sun but when was up, they were scorched, and because not they
   had

root, they withered. some but fell among thorns, and were crescive

spinae et suffocaverunt ea alia vero ceciderunt in terram
the thorns, and suffocated them, others in verity fell into ground

bonam et dabant fructum aliud centesimum aliud sexagesimum
   aliud
good, and produced fruit, some to the hundredth, some to the sixtieth,
   others

tricesimum qui habet aures audiendi audiat et
to the thirtieth. he that has ears to be audient, let him be audient. and

accedentes discipuli dixerunt ei quare in parabolis loqueris eis
accessed the disciples, and said to him, why in parables you speak to
   them.

he responded and said to them, because to you given it is to know

the mysteries of the kingdom of the heavens, to them but not it is given.

whosoever for has, will be given to him, and he will abound, whosoever but

not has, also that he has will be ablated from him. therefore in parables

i speak to them, because they seeing not see, and audient not

audiunt neque intellegunt et adimpletur eis
they are audient, neither they do intellectualise. and is fulfilled in them

prophetia Esaiae dicens auditu audietis et
   non
the prophecy of isaiah, which says, being audient you will be audient, and
   not

intellegetis et videntes videbitis et non videbitis
will intellectualise, and seeing you will see, and not will cognise.

fattened is for the heart of the populace this, and the ears are hardly

audierunt et oculos suos cluserunt nequando oculis
audient, and the eyes of theirs they have closed, lest ever with their eyes

videant et auribus audiant et corde intellegant
   et
they should see, and their ears be audient, and their heart be intelligent,
   and

they be converted, and i cure them. of yours but beatified are the eyes,

quia vident et aures vestrae quia audiunt amen
because they see, and the ears of yours, because they are audient. verily

quippe dico vobis quia multi prophetae et iusti cupierunt
naturally i say to you, because many prophets and the just were
   concupiscent

to see what you see, and not did see, and to be audient of what you are
   audient,

and not were audient. you therefore be audient of the parable of the sower.

to every one who is audient of the word of the kingdom, and not
   intellectualises,

comes malignance, and seizes what sown was in the heart of him. this is

he beside the way sown it was. he but over rocky places sown

it was, this is he that of the word is audient, and promptly with gladness

accepts it. not he has but in himself root, but is temporal, when
   occurs

autem tribulatione et persecutione propter verbum continuo
   scandalizatur
but tribulation and persecution because of the word, promptly is
   scandalised.

he but it is sown in the thorns, this is he that of the word is
   audient,

et sollicitudo saeculi istius et fallacia divitiarum
and the solicitude of the world this one, and the fallaciousness of riches,

suffocat verbum et sine fructu efficitur qui vero in terra
suffocate the word, and without fruit produced. he of verity into the
   ground

good sown is, this is he that is audient of the word, and

intellegit et fructum adfert et facit aliud quidem centum
intellectualises, and fruit produces, and produces another at least a
   hundred,

aliud autem sexaginta porro aliud triginta aliam parabolam
another but sixty, further on another thirty. another parable

proposuit illis dicens simile factum est regnum caelorum
he proposed to them, saying, similar in deed is the kingdom of the heavens

   dormirent
to a man which sowed good seed in the field his own, while but slept

the men, came one inimical of him, and over sowed weeds in the midst

of the wheat, and departed. when but was crescive the crop, and fruit
