I admired his directorial       accomplishments and always support his and anyone's right to       freely exercise their constitutional right to free specch. One       can be sued, of course, but the right to say it is paramount in       a healthy democratic system.       After Kirk was killed, Reiner was in a TV interview where he did       not denigrate him. He had that admirable trait of respect for the       family and friends of the victim.       There is a line of moral behavior, whether private or public,       that is not to be crossed lest one has such enmity and immaturity,       such lack of empathy and common respect for the survivors that       it cannot be restrained.       That'd most likely be due to a person's upbringing, his social       setting and his willingness to degrade himself in striking       ruthlessly at people in their extreme suffering from a major       relational loss in their life.       It has, however, has much to do with the timing of these type       of vitriolic comments (anti-eulogies). If dirty Donald wants       to toss the salad of worms and cockroaches, he should at the       least wait for awhile past the death of someone he despises.       I look forward to living long enough to see him brought down       and humiliated - much more than he humiliates himself.       He is a very troubled man who's on a dead-end road.       Most people don't like this kind of poor public behavior. It       is, however, the sad "standard" this nation is seeing all too       often today.       But, America's at a crucial crossroad that is upsetting and       foreboding. The worst times in the past were preceded by such       raw behavior becoming prominent. Physical suffering and losses       however win out over the avalanche of hatred (and violence),       eventually but it can be a long painful period.              @y=       `V`              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
