   I reiterate: the Kirks tragedy rates as a footnote in   
   US history given far too much significance in the utter   
   heat of an insanely polarized nation heading for a major   
   social and economic setback.   
      
   To see the significance clearly will take further dire   
   events for a more accurate comparative assessment.   
      
   It will turn out to be of minor historical importance.   
      
   I see him and his widow as agents of discord prior to a   
   war that likely will be a result of a long period of intense   
   ideological polarization. And met tragically with a police   
   state putdown that will devolve into a civil war or a   
   revolution.
