     he was esurient. and he saw a fig tree    alone beside the way, he came to

     et  nihil   invenit in ea  nisi   folia  tantum et  ait  illi   numquam ex   
     and nothing found   on it, if not leaves only,  and said to it, never   out   
   of   
      
     te  fructus nascatur in  sempiternum   et  arefacta est continuo ficulnea   
     you fruit   nascent  for ever eternal. and withered was promptly the fig   
   tree.   
      
     et  videntes    discipuli      mirati sunt       dicentes quomodo continuo   
     and they saw it the disciples, amazed they were, saying,  how     promptly   
      
     aruit              respondens autem Iesus ait      eis      amen   dico    
   vobis   
     the tree withered. responded  but jesus   and said to them, verily i say to   
   you,   
      
     si habueritis fidem     et  non haesitaveritis     non solum  de ficulnea   
     if you have   fidelity, and not you will hesitate, not solely of the fig tree   
      
     facietis     sed et   si monti           huic  dixeritis     tolle    et    
   iacta   
     you will do, but also if to the mountain this, you will say, lift up, and   
   eject   
      
     te  in   mare     fiet            et  omnia      quaecumque petieritis   
     you into the sea, it will happen. and all things whatsoever you will petition   
      
     in oratione credentes accipietis       et  cum  venisset    in   templum   
     in oration  credent,  you will accept. and when he was come into the temple,   
      
     accesserunt ad eum docentem            principes      sacerdotum              
   et   
     accessed    to him as he was teaching, the principals of the sacerdotalists   
   and   
      
     seniores    populi dicentes  in qua  potestate haec         facis          et   
     the seniors of the populace, in what potency   these things you are doing,   
   and   
      
     quis tibi   dedit hanc potestatem respondens Iesus dixit    illis   
     who  to you gave  this potency.   responded  jesus and said to them,
