   December 30 is traditionally associated with   
   Saint Anysia of Thessalonica.   
      
   Saint Anysia (c. late 3rd–early 4th century)   
   was a Christian martyr in Thessalonica (modern Greece).   
      
   She was killed during the persecutions under   
   Emperor Maximian after openly professing her   
   Christian faith.   
      
   On this same date, some calendars also commemorate   
   Pope Saint Felix I, an early pope and martyr,   
   but St. Anysia is usually the principal saint listed   
   for December 30.
