   Saw a reel claiming snuff films are real.   
      
   The reels says they're real.   
      
   A snuff film is supposedly when a murder is committed   
   specifically for the purpose of capturing it on   
   camera & selling the production for money. It's a   
   non-consensual porn film where the product is death   
   instead of sex.   
      
   Anyway, so this reel that says they're real....   
      
   But it also mentioned several serial killers and claimed   
   that photos/films of their victims were found in   
   collections, and that claim appears to be quite false.   
      
   Doing the Google, it said that snuff films are an urban   
   legend with some notable exceptions. Meaning, yes, there   
   have been some murders captured on camera and circulated,   
   but they didn't really meet the definition of "Snuff   
   Films" because they weren't a commercial endeavor.   
      
   I myself have seen too many "Unalived" videos, most of   
   them accidental deaths, some of them quite intentional.   
   Once rather famous one was the Charlie Kirk assassination.   
   Another that made the rounds was a Texas man in a taco   
   shop who unloaded his gun into an armed robber who turned   
   out to be "Armed" with a fake weapon.   
      
   There's a guy on Youtube who does the "Darwin Awards" for   
   people who "Self Deport" from the gene pool, but he   
   usually stops the video before any obvious injury.   
      
   Doesn't matter, *Tons* of unaliving video if you want it,   
   though I have no idea why you'd want it. I admit to   
   staring at it like a car wreck on the side of the road but,   
   I don't drive around looking for car crashes!   
      
   Okay, this is pointless.   
      
   Any thoughts on "Snuff Films?"
