|    Is God A King ???    |

From: theirony2013@gmail.com              Calling God a “king” does not match the normal,       literal meaning of the word. A king is a human       ruler over a defined territory who governs through       laws, institutions, and inherited or granted authority,       and God does not fit that description. In the Bible,       God does not formally define Himself as a king in       human political terms; rather, He is called king by       others or speaks using royal language, such as       “The LORD is King forever” (Psalm 10:16), “your King”       (Isaiah 43:15), and “I am a great King” (Malachi 1:14).       These statements use the title descriptively, not       as a literal claim to a human office.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
