   Because he is:

[quoting] "The Lord said to Satan, 'From where have you come?'
Satan answered the Lord and said, 'From going to and fro on
the earth, and from walking up and down on it.' [end quote Job 1:7

[quoting] "Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the
devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to
devour. [end quote] 1 Peter 5:8

[quoting] "We know that we are from God, and the whole world
lies in the power of the evil one." [end quote] 1 John 5:19

[quoting Jesus] "The thief comes only to steal and kill
and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it
   abundantly. [end quote] John 10:10

[quoting] "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may
be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." [end
   quote] Ephesians 6:11

No, an incorrect translation doesn't make the Bible
false. Especially since we have the original words
to compare, and come up with the correct translation.

The Bible actually says the Kingdom of God is in our
midst, such as when a group of believers are gathered
together -- and the Kingdom of God is in their midst.
