    From the perspective of an ancient human there is no difference.   
      
   They walk into a temple & worship Zeus, ask for a larger penis.   
      
   Nothing.   
      
   They walk into a temple dedicated some king they never saw, but   
   you're told he's a god and, what do you know?  It's a temple,   
   same as for Zeus, and there's a statue, same as for Zeus, and   
   there's priests and everything...   
      
   Zero difference.   
      
   You're pretending to be looking at the past but you only see
