   I kind of like the idea of controversy -- it means people are   
   talking about you -- but would they show up and complain/support   
   or just stay away because of it?

   Not that I'm paranoid but, e-bikes have the same   
   issues with fires as EVs. I hate the idea of bringing   
   one inside!   
      
   I always wanted a moped, especially when I worked like 2   
   miles away but, it's not a 4-seasons thing around here.   
   And I'd have to bring it inside which would have been a   
   major issue. And they're not cheap, so it would have been   
   a pile of money in addition to a car.
