   If you look at the Catholic church then look at the Church of England,   
   the Anglican church, the monarch takes the place of God.

   monarch sits above, in the place of God.   
      
   A lot of people -- historians, theologians -- will refer to the   
   Anglican church as "Rome Light," as it is an entirely political   
   animal -- a political not religious divide.   
      
   Oh, sure, they adopted many aspects of the Protestants but, over all,   
   not a whole lot.   
      
   Clergy can get married... they don't like the ordination of the   
   Catholic church but...   
      
   They do away with the statues, sure, but they like to put the images   
   into the stained glass windows!   
      
   Which should be wrong for the same reasons the statues are wrong, if   
   you're going to take that strict interpretation...
