   Social "Taboos" are far more powerful than religious   
   mores. As a point here:  In your "Good old days"   
   people were just as likely to cheat on their wives,   
   and a lot more likely to visit prostitutes, and what   
   they feared wasn't God but public exposure.   
      
   The problem today is that the 1%, through their media,   
   and especially the social media & the almighty   
   algorithm, are controlling people SOCIALLY.
