   The roomie asked me to make him a sandwich. He was working   
   from home and not feeling well. Anyway, he wanted soup &   
   a sandwich. I was just about to ask him if we had any   
   bread when he asked me to pick up some American cheese   
   "While I was getting the bread."   
      
   The soup we had. Plenty. Progresso or however it's spelled.   
   And he did specify the soup. Kind of. He said "Whatever can   
   you pick up.   
      
   It was Chickarina.   
      
   So when I'm at the store getting the bread, and the cheese   
   but not any soup (because we had soup), I wondered if I   
   should grab any deli meat. This particular supermarket has   
   some really good roast beef and I was toying with the idea,   
   then I remembered that we still had some ham in the fridge.   
      
   Krakaus. Polish ham. Lots of salt, of course, but it's 98%   
   fat free!   
      
   So I heated up the soup, made the sandwich and brought it   
   up to him -- he had a free window around 12:30 -- and he   
   was really surprised when he saw the sandwich.   
      
   "Oh," he said. "I was thinking grilled cheese."   
      
   "You need to specify grilled cheese," I told him.   
      
   Wow. What a riveting tale...
