I don't think so. The judge bad an excessively bad ruling
and instead of appealing it, they're going a different
   route.

What I'm saying is that they're avoiding having to treat
   the criminal like a criminal...

The judge's ruling effectively pronounced Lemon "Not Guilty,"
but that wasn't his place. THE TRIAL decides if he's guilty
or not. The judge's only duty here was to decide if all the
   forms were filled out correctly.

Effectively the judge ruled that "Freedom of the Press" is
absolute. That, anyone who calls themselves a journalist is
   above the law.

It's yet another example of the underlying problem: Another
2-bit official who is bored with their job, refuses to do it
and instead appointed themselves to a new job. In this case
   he's now the Supreme Court.
