From: jtem01@gmail.com              So I showed this to the roomie and he concurred:              https://youtu.be/UEXWjKSZGp0?si=iIa3KDlV5nr9bPoX              Now the roomie liked it because it's a way wicked       groovy, danceable song. I liked it chiefly because...              #1. His voice. This kid (in his 20s) looks like a       muppet! If he was on a Shriner's commercial I       would *Definitely* be buying an "A-door-a-bwull       blanket." Yet he has this deep masculine voice!              Real power.              #2. Perfectly encapsulates a generation! This       song brings forth form to the narcissism of today!       I mean, you can just image it: Instead of going       out to a club to check out the beautiful people,       going out to a club to give everyone else a       beautiful person to check out!              Confession: I love the attitude! Very JTEMesq.       I've often responded to trolls telling them how       jealous I was of them, because they got to read &       respond to me... while all I had to read was them.              "I must seem like a rock star to you!"              Lol!              And here's a rock star, albeit an up & coming       rock star, hitting us with the exact same thing!              Damn. i love it!              #3. It looks like he made that video himself!              Checking the comments, people said things like "the       music video is back." Meaning, good old fashioned       MTV-at-it's-peak music video! And I see that. But       more than that I see a young man take very little,       almost nothing, and turn it into a complete, coherent       miniature film i.e. music video.              See, a good director, a good artist makes a good       film. A great director, a great artist makes a film       GREAT.              It's not what you do, it's how you do it!              And, yes, anyone who starts with few if any resources       and succeeds at his art is a great artist.              The converse is also true: The more resources you       have, the bigger "Failure" looks. It's one thing to       fail on a $500 budget, it's quite another to fail on       a $70k budget... it's a worse sin.              And this (legally consenting adult) kid succeeded on       next to nothing.              Put short: It's a good song, sung my a talented singer       with a good voice, capturing our times like few if any       other artist even try, and he's accomplishing all this       on a shoestring!              The entity called "Mike" that we channel was WRONG!                                          What do you feed a gay horse?              https://www.facebook.com/reel/897277425992094                     --       https://jtem.tumblr.com/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
